Questions and Answers for a Friendship Quiz: Data From FriendQuiz

FriendQuiz Team |

If you're looking for friendship quiz questions and answers, real quizzes are a good place to start. Between 30 July and 11 October 2026, people made 25,278 quizzes on FriendQuiz, and we recorded 64,471 friend results. Friends scored 5.9 out of 10 on average. The answers with the highest shares for their questions were Winter (45.2%), Harry Potter (24.1%), Spending time with friends (32.1%) and Pizza (27.8%), and Black beat Blue for favorite color. In a short sample of individual answers, the hardest question to guess was "What is my biggest fear?" (right 47.5% of the time). The easiest was "Which city was I born in?" (73.9%).

The 10 suggested questions and the answers people chose

When you make a quiz here, you type your name and get 10 suggested questions about yourself. Each one comes with four pre-filled options. You can keep or rewrite any question or option, and you mark the correct answer for each one. The table shows the answer creators marked most often for each question, and how often friends got that question right.

QuestionMost-marked answerFriends answered correctly
What is my favorite season?Winter (45.2%)54.5%
What is my favorite movie?Harry Potter (24.1%)58.7%
What makes me happiest?Spending time with friends (32.1%)53.1%
What is my favorite food?Pizza (27.8%)61.7%
What is my dream destination?Japan (23.8%)51.1%
What music do I prefer?Pop (23.4%)58.6%
What is my favorite color?Black (27.0%)61.2%
What is my biggest fear?Public speaking (17.9%)47.5%
What is my favorite hobby?Cooking (15.1%)66.7%
Which city was I born in?London (6.8%)73.9%

The answer shares come from quizzes created from 25 September 2026 onward. The last column comes from a shorter sample, explained in the next section.

Winter has the highest share of any single answer across the ten questions (45.2%). Black (27.0%) beat Blue (21.9%) for favorite color, and Pink (6.7%) and Purple (5.8%) made the top five even though creators had to type both in. Hobby was almost a tie between Cooking (15.1%) and Video games (14.9%).

The birth city question shows that creators do type in their own answers. London came first at 6.8%, but India came second at 6.0%, ahead of New York at 5.8%. India isn't a city or a pre-filled option, so creators must have typed it in themselves. Korea (2.9%) appeared the same way under dream destination.

How often friends guess right

For about 36 hours (6-7 October 2026), we stored each friend's individual answers: 56,215 answers from 5,627 results. In that sample, 58.7% of answers were correct, but some questions were much harder than others.

Hardest to easiest

  1. What is my biggest fear? 47.5%
  2. What is my dream destination? 51.1%
  3. What makes me happiest? 53.1%
  4. What is my favorite season? 54.5%
  5. What music do I prefer? 58.6%
  6. What is my favorite movie? 58.7%
  7. What is my favorite color? 61.2%
  8. What is my favorite food? 61.7%
  9. What is my favorite hobby? 66.7%
  10. Which city was I born in? 73.9%

The biggest-fear question is the only one friends got right less than half the time. It is also the question where creators' own answers were spread most evenly across the four options, though the two figures come from different samples: Public speaking 17.9%, Spiders 15.2%, The dark 15.0% and Heights 12.8%.

The wrong answers friends pick most

These are the wrong guesses that came up most often, with the number of times each was picked when it wasn't the creator's answer:

For most of the ten questions, the most common wrong guess in the 36-hour sample was the same answer that creators marked most often in the table above, for example Spending time with friends, Public speaking, Winter, Black and Pizza. The exceptions were dream destination and hobby. So the most popular answer is also a frequent miss. It's the right guess for the many creators who picked it, and a wrong one for everyone else.

Scores: what a normal result looks like

Across 64,471 friend results, the average was 5.9 out of 10. The most common score was 6/10, at 17.3% of results.

So if a friend scores 6, that's completely normal. A perfect score is rare enough to brag about.

Writing your own questions

In 26.7% of quizzes (6,745 of 25,278), the creator replaced at least one suggested question with their own. The most common topics were:

Many of these go beyond the defaults, for example a favorite series or anime, or a date friends should know, like your birthday. For more ideas, see our list of the best questions to put in a friendship quiz.

A third of quizzes had no answers yet

Not every quiz gets played. Here's how many friend results each quiz had received at the time of the snapshot:

Overall, 64.6% of quizzes got at least one result, and 17.0% got five or more. Making the quiz is only half the job. The other half is getting friends to open the link.

How to use this when you make your own quiz

  1. Check the pre-filled options. If your real answer isn't there, type it in, the way creators added India, Pink or Sleeping.
  2. Keep at least one easy question. Birth city was guessed right 73.9% of the time and hobby 66.7%. An easy question or two gives friends a few sure points.
  3. Add a real challenge. Fear (47.5%) and dream destination (51.1%) were the hardest, with happiness close behind (53.1%). Just make sure your true answer is among the options.
  4. Swap in something personal. Favorite series, anime, birth country and birthday were among the topics other creators wrote most.
  5. Set expectations. The average is 5.9 out of 10, so a 6 is a decent score.
  6. Actually share the link. Your page lists friends' scores only once someone plays, so send it straight to the people you want to hear from, for example on WhatsApp.

About these numbers

The data covers quizzes created on FriendQuiz between 2026-07-30 and 2026-10-11, from a database snapshot taken 2026-10-11 10:37:24 UTC. We used only aggregate counts, with no names or personal fields. The period includes 25,278 quizzes and 64,471 friend results, where one result means one friend answering one quiz.

The "answer marked as correct" figures use only quizzes created from 2026-09-25 onward with exactly one marked answer for that question, from 14,762 (birth city) to 16,837 (favorite color) quizzes per question. They are shares of quizzes, not of people. Pre-filled options appear first and can be kept with one tap, so their share isn't a pure measure of taste. Options described as typed in were written by creators themselves.

Per-question friend answers were stored for only about 36 hours (6-7 October 2026), for a feature that showed creators which option each friend picked, and friends were told the creator could see their choices. That sample has 5,627 friend results on 1,776 quizzes and 56,215 individual answers, so the guessing figures may not match other periods. Self-written questions were counted exactly as typed, so spelling variants of the same question were not merged.
