BFF Test: How Well Does Your Best Friend Know You?

A BFF test is a quiz about you that only your best friend should ace. Type your name in the box above, answer 10 questions about yourself, then send one link to your bestie. They try to pick the same answers you picked, and the score tells you how well your BFF really knows you. It is free, and you only enter your name: no account, no email.

How the BFF test works

1. Type your name and tap “Start”.
2. Answer the 10 questions by marking your own answer for each one. You can rewrite any question and any answer option, or add an option.
3. On the last question, tap “Save and Share” to get the link to your BFF test.
4. Send it with the WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Facebook or Twitter buttons, or tap “Copy Link” and paste it into any chat.

The 10 questions your bestie has to answer

This test starts with questions a best friend should know, not a classmate: your go-to comfort food, how you spend a free Saturday, the first thing you do when you wake up, your usual drink order, your biggest pet peeve, who you call first with big news, your dream trip together, what you do when you are stressed, your movie night pick and what you would be famous for. Each one comes with four ready answers. Keep them, or type over them so the real answer is yours.

How your BFF's score works

Your friend opens the link, enters their name and answers the same 10 questions. Every answer that matches yours is one point, so the best score is 10 out of 10. At the end they see a short verdict, from “You know your friend perfectly” for a perfect score down to “You don't know your friend at all”. Their name and score then go on your scoreboard, sorted from the highest score down. Send the same link to more than one friend and the scoreboard shows who knows you best. Anyone with the link can see the questions and the scoreboard.

Questions only a real bestie gets right

Want a harder BFF test? Swap two or three of the ready questions for things nobody outside your friendship would know:

• What was the first thing we ever argued about?
• Which song do I always skip?
• What is my usual excuse for being late?
• What do I always order but never finish?
• Which word do I say way too often?
• Where did we first meet?

BFF test or friendship quiz?

Both are the same game. This BFF test starts with questions for your closest friend. If you want to send one link to a whole class or group chat, the friendship quiz starts with more general questions such as your favorite color, food and movie. Both use the same scoreboard and both are free.

Before you send it

• Do not put private details in questions or answers, such as your address, phone number or passwords.
• The test is for people aged 13 and older. Parents can read the parent guide.
• It is a game. A low score does not mean a weak friendship; it only shows how many of your answers your friend guessed.
